Founded in 2019 with love, care, and a big vision, Nursery Room is a family-run business dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for your little ones. Our founder, Sevjen Ali, a passionate mom with over 10 years of experience in the nursery industry, set out on a mission to design a place that combines the best elements of a nursery and a childminder.

As a mother of three, Sevjen has experienced firsthand the emotions and worries that come with finding the right childcare. She knows how daunting it can feel to leave your child in someone else’s care, hoping they’ll be safe, loved, and happy. Like many parents, Sevjen and her husband went through those emotional early drop-offs, with tears and anxious hearts. But thanks to the reassurance and warmth of a trusted childminder, they learned those moments were only temporary—and that their children were in good hands. That experience helped shape the heart and soul of Nursery Room.

At Nursery Room, we understand that every family is unique, which is why we’ve created a flexible, understanding approach to both care and fees. No more rigid policies or late penalties that add stress to your day – we believe in fairness, compassion, and working together.

Our setting is based in a purpose-built nursery building, completed in 2019, located just behind our family home. With its own private access and a warm, homely atmosphere, it offers a safe and inviting space where children can learn, play, and grow. Our supportive neighbours have championed our journey from day one, and we’re proud to be part of a community that shares our values.
