Accessibility Statement

We want everyone — including parents, carers and prospective families using assistive technology — to be able to use this website comfortably. This statement explains what we’ve done and what we’re still working on.

What we’ve done

• The site is built on semantic HTML and WordPress’s native content blocks, so headings, lists, links and images carry proper structure for screen readers.
• Text and colours follow a consistent design system, and the layout is responsive — it works and resizes on phones, tablets and desktops without horizontal scrolling.
• Photographs of real people and places carry descriptive alt text.
• Navigation and forms can be operated by keyboard.

What we’re still working on

As a small, owner-run site, we haven’t commissioned a formal audit against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, so we can’t yet claim full conformance. Known gaps we’re aware of and actively improving include colour-contrast checking across every component, and captions or transcripts for embedded video content.

Third-party content

Some parts of the site — the enquiry and careers application forms, the Google Maps embed, our reviews carousel, and any embedded videos — are provided by third-party services (Contact Form 7, Google, WP Review Slider Pro, YouTube). We can’t guarantee the accessibility of content those services control.
